Teaching AKC Novice and Intermediate Rally

This online course will cover all current AKC Novice and Intermediate signs.  We will cover how the sign is
performed based on AKC description, common issues with each sign and how to train your dog to perform
the sign.  Methods taught will be motivational and will require the use of food or toys to teach your dog how to
perform the sign.  
Each week videos will be posted on Wednesday on how to perform and teach your dog the signs assigned for
that week.  You  will also receive written instructions.  You will then have the week to practice and be able to
interact with other students in the class for discussions.  Your homework will be due on Mondays for review on
Wednesday.  On Wednesday we will discuss your progress, receive new instruction on items that may need
more work.  

This class will run for 6 weeks.  $125 working spot.  $75 audit (view only, there is no one on one instruction or
video reviews)

Class starts 9/5 .  Enrollment closes 9/1

Required items for this course:

-basic obedience skills
-Facebook account
-4-6 foot thin leash
-training collar
-food
-toy
-capability to upload your videos to the facebook page if you wish to have them reviewed.  This can easily be
done on your phone.
-cones or something that can represent cones.


What you can expect to learn from this course:

This course focuses on teaching you, the handler, how to correctly perform the AKC Rally signs/exercises
following AKC competition rules and regulations.

How to teach your dog to work with you as a team in training, and to carry over to a competition AKC Rally
course.

How to progress off the treats/toys for competition.

Learn how important your body cues are to your dog and how they effect your  training and showing in the ring

This online course will cover all current AKC Advanced and Excellent signs.  We will cover how the sign is
performed based on AKC description, common issues with each sign and how to train your dog to perform
the sign.  Methods taught will be motivational and will require the use of food or toys to teach your dog how to
perform the sign.  
Each week videos will be posted on Wednesday on how to perform and teach your dog the signs assigned for
that week.  You  will also receive written instructions.  You will then have the
week to practice and be able to interact with other students in the class for discussions.  Your homework will
be due on Mondays for review on Wednesday.  On Wednesday we will discuss your progress, receive new
